Guo Chengyun, expert enjoying special government allowance of The State Council; Visiting professor of Shihezi University, national first-class photographer. He lived and worked in the 126th Regiment and the 7th Division for more than 30 years. He served as deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Xinjiang Corps Radio and Television Station. Deputy director; Member and Vice Chairman of the Leading Party Group of the Literary Federation of Xinjiang Corps; The fourth and fifth chairman of Xinjiang Corps Photographers Association. Member of the 78th Chinese Photographers Association. He is a member of China Television Artists Association, vice president of Xinjiang Art Association Printmaking Art Committee, honorary president of Xinjiang Corps Large Landscape Painting Research Society, honorary chairman of Corps Photographers Association.
In nearly 40 years of creative career, more than 1,000 fine art photography works have participated in international, national and provincial exhibitions, published in various magazines at all levels, and won various awards more than 40 times.
The video works "an Octogenarian woman rushes into the Market" won the first prize of the second Xinjiang News Award, "Harvest Dance" and "Youth on Post" won the second prize of the second Xinjiang News Award; "Tarim Impression" won the 21st National Photography Art Exhibition art outstanding works Award; "A Thousand Miles of Interdependence" won the gold Medal in the art category of the 8th Shanghai International Photography Art Exhibition. "Journey of the Horizon Tribe" won the first prize of the Corps documentary selection; "Horizon Tribe" and "Horizon Pure Land" won the second China Documentary Gold Award, the fifth China Documentary International Selection of ten Best Award, best photography Award, National Radio and television Golden Sail Award. It was selected by the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China as a fine CD to be published in 10 languages for the world. At the same time, it has also been listed by the state as a series of documentaries on the achievements of Chinese cultural construction since the 17th National Congress of the Party, and has been broadcast on the international Al Jazeera television station and the national television station of Trinidad and Tobago.
"Southern Xinjiang Style" won the bronze Award of China Silk Road Art Exhibition. "The Legend of Stone City" "cooperation" was selected by the 16th National Print Exhibition and the second National Fine Art Golden Prize Exhibition.
Theoretical articles: "Western Development and the General Trend of Corps Photography" won the National excellent paper award in 2000, "Mission and Responsibility of Corps photography" and other more than ten papers published in provincial newspapers.

In 2010, he was a judge of the 10th Shanghai International Photography Art Exhibition. ​

In 2006, he was awarded the title of outstanding photographer for 50 years of Chinese photography.

郭成云，享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家；石河子大学客座教授，国家一级摄影师。在126团，七师生活工作30余年。曾任新疆兵团广播电视台党委副书记.副台长;新疆兵团文联党组成员、副主席；新疆兵团摄影家协会四，五届主席。中国摄影家协会七八九届理事。是中国电视艺术家协会会员，新疆美协版画艺委会副会长，新疆兵团大山水画研究会名誉会长，兵团摄影家协会名誉主席。
在近40年的创作生涯中，千余幅美术摄影作品参加国际级、国家级、省级展览，各级各类杂志发表，获各类大奖40余次。
影像作品《八旬老太闯市场》获第二届新疆新闻奖一等奖，《丰收舞》,《上岗青年》获第二届新疆新闻奖二等奖;《塔里木印象》获21届全国摄影艺术展览艺术类优秀作品奖；《相依千里》获上海第八届国际摄影艺术展览艺术类金牌奖。《天边部落之旅》获兵团纪录片评选一等奖;《天边部落》、《天边净土》获第二届中国纪录片金奖、获第五届中国纪录片国际评选十优奖、最佳摄影奖，国家广电金帆奖。被中华人民共和国文化部选为精品用10国文字面向世界出版光碟发行。同时，还被国家列为党的十七大以来中国文化建设成就系列纪录片，先后在国际半岛电视台和特多国家电视台播出反响强烈。
美术作品《怀抱》获喜迎香港回归全国美术作品展览优秀奖，《夕照石头城》‘合作’获毛泽东同在［延安文艺座谈会上的讲话］六十周年全国美术作品展览优秀奖、新疆自治区庆祝建国五十周年美术、书法、摄影作品展览银奖、兵团庆祝建国六十周年美术作品展览金奖，《南疆风情》获中国丝绸之路美术作品大展铜奖。《石头城的传说》‘合作’，获第十六届全国版画展入选，第二届中国美术金彩奖全国美术作品展入选奖。
理论文章：《西部大开发与兵团摄影的大趋势》获全国优秀论文奖2000年，《兵团摄影的使命与责任》等十余篇论文在省级报刊发表。
2010年，任上海第十届国际摄影艺术展览评委。​
1988年，荣获中国农垦摄影十佳提名奖；1999年，荣获第四届中国摄影‘金像奖’；2003年，荣获第二届中国美术‘金彩奖’作品展入选；2008年，荣获第一届多彩贵州中国原生态国际摄影大展创作奖；2009年，荣获第九届中国民间文艺‘山花奖’。2000年，荣获中国文联‘德艺双馨’文艺家称号。2001年、2006年、2011年、连续当选为中国文联第七次、第八次、第九次全国代表大会代表。2006年荣获中国摄影五十年突出贡献摄影工作者称号。​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
